Since not all of us are leaving the city limits for the winter break, the editors have decided to compile a short list of activities that anyone who stays in Poznań can take part in during this time. Take a look, read, and if you are inspired make use of the advice below.

Malta Ice Rink

At Malta lake there is an indoor ice rink. If you don’t have ice skate at home you can lend them here. One hour on the rink costs 5 zloty (in weekends the price rises to 6). It’s a wonderful place! You can spend a happy day with friends, skating with music and colorful lights.

From 7. – 11 of February from 10.30 to 12 –  video art workshops (work with video camera).

I enumerated just 2 of all the attractions. Zamek offers many other workshops. You can buy tickets at the box office from 17.01.11. in the hours 11.00 – 19.00 and from 31.01.11. in the hours 8.45 – 19.00 for additional information  visit www.zamek.poznan.pl.

Cinema 5D Extreme!

A lot of people don’t know that we have such a cinema in Poznań. This cinema is located in a retail park in Hetmańska street. Cinema 5D is a place in which the spectator experiences the film with all senses. It is a good proposal for the winter holidays and not only. Here, you can take on the role of the hero of the film and on your own skin feel  crossing over a swollen river, touching the cold waves of the ocean or surviving a real snowy snowstorm. The ticket price for us is from 13 zloty to 16 zloty.  I think that this is an interesting experience and a place worth visiting.
