Hungry for the Hunger Games
Last week I was at the cinema with my friend. The movie we watched was entitled ,,The Hunger Games’’. It’s a science – fiction film directed by Gary Ross.
Carnage – a review.
Last time, I was in cinema on movie “Carnage”. It’s a black comedy directed by Roman Polanski. The screenplay is an adaptation of the play “God of Carnage” by Yasmina Reza. The makers created the perfect comedy. It’s very difficult in our times, because the biggest problem of this film genre is the pathetic and [...]
“Drive” – The obvious, unobvious story.
“Drive” – The obvious, unobvious story. What is the Drive… !? What, actually, is this film? Something that should last at least twice as long, I think. In fact – I’m in the muddle. Because two hours after watching ‘Water for elephants’ I actually have no idea what I should think about it. It wasn’t bad – in the sense aesthetics it was pretty good, indeed. Beautiful animals, lovely story and the demonic (as always) Christoph Waltz impressed but… was it enough?
Rob Pattinson – not only a sparkling vampire
Robert Pattinson – yeah, yeah. You can laugh but… because of what? ‘Cause he played Edward Cullen in ‘Twilight’? And – answer me – have you ever seen him in any other film? No? Just like I thought. Let’s start from the beginning – Pattinson played Cedric Diggory in ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of [...]
Why I now add almost to the phrase “Never say never”
This Friday proved prophetic for me, and not because I realized the extent to which people can interpret April Fools’ jokes, but because it became a changing point in my views on life.
